Welcome to IDA

We’re thrilled to launch our redesigned website, idadesal.org, alongside our new Association Engagement System through Memberclicks. The site is our first step in creating a communication system more accessible and intuitive for you and our international membership community.

We’re sure these new platforms will provide seamless communication among members, keeping the IDA community connected worldwide. Essential networking tools, such as online space to share documents, photos, and resources through member-created knowledge sharing circles, play a key role in the new site, promote a collective exchange of ideas and expertise among members. Generate your own circle to collaborate on projects, network with other IDA members, and stay up to date with the latest your fellow members and the broader IDA community has to offer. This social aspect of the Memberclicks system realizes the best of social media sites like LinkedIn. For instructions on how to create circles, click here.

So please, join us. Take this opportunity to ensure that other IDA members can connect with you and the broader IDA community further by updating your profile. We encourage you to take a look around, if you haven't done so already, you can renew your dues, and register for IDA’s October 2019 World Congress in Dubai and IDA’s Action4Good conference this April in Santa Margherita, Italy.

Thank you for your patience during this time of exciting renovation at IDA. Our work is possible because of members like you. As always, if you have any questions, please contact [email protected].

Call for Papers

We invite authors to submit an extended abstract to be considered for presentation in the IDA 2019 World Congress Technical Program.  The Theme “Crossroads to Sustainability’ is pivotal to the varied discussions already taking place surrounding the growing demand for a sustainable source of fresh water in response to population growth, economic expansion, degradation of existing resources, energy-water-food nexus, and the effects of climate change.
